Inner Space Design is a term I created after years of shaping my own approach to Feng Shui and space analysis. It blends traditional Feng Shui with modern insights from building biology, color psychology, design, art, and the subtle language of how space influences us.
Feng Shui, the 3,000-year-old Chinese art of arranging your environment for maximum support and joy, translates between your personality, your home, and its architecture. I weave this ancient wisdom together with space psychology, especially attuned to the needs of Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs). I offer programs that help HSPers transform their home into a true healing oasis.
At its core, Feng Shui is a philosophy that speaks to our emotional and spiritual well-being. By harmonizing the elements around us, we create a sanctuary of calm — a place where our nervous system can soften, our energy can settle, and our soul can breathe, even in the intensity of modern life.
Especially for HSPs, heightened sensitivity makes a harmonious living environment essential. As an HSP myself, I understand these needs and use Feng Shui to create spaces that truly nurture. From calming colors to intuitive furniture placement, every detail is designed to support peace and serenity.
My work goes beyond Feng Shui. As a certified homeopath, I can integrate homeopathy into the process for those who want deeper energetic support. Homeopathy complements spatial work by addressing inner imbalances and helping your system realign from within. This part of the process is billed as ‘homeopathy’ and, with supplementary insurance, is often reimbursed.
After an Inner Space Design process, people feel more balanced in their home — and therefore in themselves. This renewed inner harmony opens doors, attracts new possibilities, and supports real change. Each session responds to what is happening in your life at that moment and what you most want to transform. Many clients describe this process as a turning point.
CREATING SPACE
"The best time to plan a book is while you're doing the dishes." — Agatha Christie
We live in a world of abundance, often owning far more than we use or need. The result is not too little, but too much.
When I enter a home, I first sense its energy: does it nourish or drain? Is it vibrant, stagnant, or something in between? Where does clutter collect and where does the space feel dull or weak?
Physical clutter becomes mental clutter. It creates blockages that show up as tiredness, low energy, indifference, depression, feeling stuck, or lacking clarity and inspiration.
It can be hard to know what truly supports you and what silently weighs you down. And although we often tell ourselves we “might need it someday,” hiding things in cupboards or basements doesn’t solve the problem — our subconscious still registers the clutter. It remains in our energetic field and keeps draining us.
The good news: clearing clutter is liberating — and often surprisingly fun. Letting go of unnecessary ballast creates inner freedom and a surge of energy. Many of my clients, including those with a history of illness, depression, or chronic fatigue (CFS), feel an immediate lightness. They often describe their life beginning to flow again, with new insights and opportunities appearing almost effortlessly. Everyone mentions the joy and energy released through this process.
If letting go feels difficult, having a reliable, professional guide can make all the difference. Discretion and respect are essential, as clearing clutter often means revisiting parts of your personal history. Strong emotions can come up, and it helps to have someone present who can hold space and support you through it.
Clutter clearing is highly individual — for some it takes one focused day, for others it unfolds slowly over weeks or months. I offer different formats to meet every need: from an intensive one-day “get-it-done” session to weekly guidance over a longer period.
COLOR ADVICE
Of all our senses, sight is the most dominant — around 83% of the information our brain receives comes through our eyes. So it’s no surprise that color has a powerful impact on our mood, energy, and nervous system.
In Feng Shui we work with the Five Elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal. Together with the taijitu (Yin–Yang) and the eight trigrams, they form the core of classical Feng Shui. Each element expresses itself through certain colors, and each color influences both your home and your inner state.
Using your personal birth element and Five Element profile, we can identify the colors that nourish you and those that may drain you. When the elements in a space are out of balance, a missing element can be added through color — or an overwhelming one softened.
With my background in fine arts, I am precise and intuitive when it comes to color. I can help you find the right palette for every part of your home, create mood boards, and choose the shades that harmonize with your furniture, the sector of the house, and — most importantly — you.
